Breast  Self-Exam Monthly Reminders
Members of the Breast Health Club receive monthly reminders in the mail to do their self-exam. The monthly post cards include information on topics such as cancer fighting foods, how to perform a self-exam, and local events / workshops on topics relating to breast health. Breast Health at the Allen Street Farmers Market
Members of the Health Team are present at the weekly Allen Street Farmers Market . They are able to answer questions about the ANC Healthy Bodies, Healthy Breasts program and sign you up for the breast health club. There is also a weekly, free, cancer fighting food sample available. The market is on Wednesdays from 2:30 to 6:30 at the corner of Kalamazoo and Allen Streets. The 2007 market season runs from May through Oct. 31st.
