A small group from the YSC will head to Indianapolis Thursday afternoon, May 13th, to participate in a special one day event including the chance to see His Holiness the Dalai Lama speak at Conseco Fieldhouse on Friday morning.
The group also will participate in a variety of activities throughout the day following the speech, to better understand and appreciate the message of compassion and patience that the Dalai Lama spreads worldwide.
The trip to Indianapolis was made possible through a generous grant from Edgewood United Church of Christ in East Lansing. Our travelers plan to take lots of pictures and soak up all the information they can while in Indy, so watch for updates! : )
