Join us for our first KIDS FEST sponsored by Physicians Health Plan and featuring:
Free lead testing from 2:30- 6:00 for children under 6. Each child tested will get a $10 gift certificate to use at the Allen Street Farmers Market.
WIC will be on site to sign WIC participants up for Project Fresh
Free activities for kids sponsored by the Capital Area District Library and the Michigan Historical Museum.
Deborah Diesen will be on hand to read from her award-winning book, Pout-Pout Fish from 3:00 to 3:30
Swish the Fish from 4:30- 5:30
Free balloon animals and face painting
Chris Singer from Ingham Great Start Collaborative will be handing out information on play and learn groups, resources and upcoming events
Entertainment by JAM (Jazz on the Avenue and at the Market-an Eastside summer jazz series) performers John Beshay and Ralph Tope at 4:00pm
