Breast Health Club

Increasing Access & Screening Rates for Uninsured Women

ANC’s Breast Health Program

The goal of ANC’s Breast Health Program is to reach out to women in Lansing’s Eastside using a set of    inter-related strategies for increasing breast health awareness and linking women to essential services, programs, and supports.

The history of Lansing’s Eastside is richly diverse, and there are several opportunities to experience this history and exercise at the same time! These walking maps display routes around our community as well as spots of historical interest.

SIGN UP for our FREE Breast Health Club and receive a postcard on a monthly basis that not only reminds you to understand what is normal for you, but also provides you with information on knowing your risk, getting screened for breast cancer, and making healthy lifestyle choices. Additionally, you will receive information on other  ANC health  initiatives, like our Friday afternoon walking club that takes place every Friday at 12PM in Hunter Park.

Make sure you and your friends and family members know your risks as they relate to breast cancer!

In the Lansing community, we have several resources that provide women in our community with free breast health services. Go here to find out more about these community resources and getting screened. Please feel free to contact these agencies to sign-up for their FREE services, or call the ANC and speak to a member of our Outreach and Engagement Team for more information.
