For our senior neighbors, Allen Neighborhood Center is committed to supporting the concept of aging in community. Older adults have a strong desire to remain independent, stay in their homes and experience familiar neighborhood sights and sounds. A closeness to friends and family is important as well.
Seniors bring a strong sense of heritage, stability and resilience to our neighborhood. Supporting seniors in our community is vital to the stability of our neighborhood, and allowing them to age in place is more affordable than institutional care.
ANC offers a variety of programs, resources and services for seniors on the Eastside. ANC offers programs ranging from food and fitness, support groups, to continuing education as well as activities of interest.
