The Campaign for ANC
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Since 1999, ANC has been developing and delivering neighborhood-based programs to increase access to:
- Fresh and affordable produce
- Health resources
- Home improvement opportunities
- Organized neighborhood groups
- Learning opportunities for youth, seniors, and parents
In order to continue the good work we do and to craft new initiatives in response to emerging challenges, we ask that you consider supporting us in one of two ways:
- By making a donation in any amount you can afford
- By volunteering your time in one of our programs
Your gift of time or money is precious to us, and, frankly, makes it possible for us to continue to do the work we do.
Financial Support: A check or cash in any amount will help to sustain the Center’s operations.
We know how strapped our neighbors are in these tough economic times, and appreciate any financial help you can offer. If 150 neighbors gave us $10 (or if 15 neighbors donated $100), it would pay a month’s rent. Small amounts add up, and, for a penny-wise operation like ANC, no amount is too small.
Volunteering at ANC: Volunteers are an essential part of nearly everything we do here. We benefit from a long tradition of neighborhood involvement on the Eastside, and depend on volunteers to work with us to make this a healthy and livable place.
Whether you choose to volunteer a couple hours a month in our Hunter Park GardenHouse and learn to garden, spend time at the Allen Street Farmers Market, deliver news to Eastsiders, or help out at KidsTime and Youth Service Corps, we are grateful for whatever time you can give to us.
If you can help us out with a donation of money, please print out this form and send it back to the Allen Neighborhood Center at the address provided. If you are sending a check, please make it payable to the Allen Neighborhood Center.
Thank you very much for your commitment to helping ANC continue its work to improve the quality of life on the Eastside.
