McLaren Health Plan is the Breadbasket Underwriter for the entire year of 2022 and they have sponsored two Farmers Market days.
The Lansing Board of Water & Light has partnered with ANC to create and sponsor an onsite solar micro-grid including solar roof panels, carports, and picnic tables. Allen Place will serve as a research site to evaluate emerging renewable and energy-efficient technologies.
Rathbun Agency, a long-time friend and supporter of Allen Neighborhood Center, has decided to strengthen that partnership and commitment to community by sponsoring ANC’s Accelerator Kitchen. This kitchen is one of three accelerator kitchens in Michigan, serving as an intermediate step between incubator programs and sole proprietorship.
AF Group, a long-standing supporter of ANC’s food programs, has announced an investment in Allen Neighborhood Center’s efforts to increase local food access, utilizing its newly constructed Veggie Box CSA kitchen. This new facility will be known as the Prep and Pack Kitchen, Nourished by AF Group.
Allen Neighborhood Center’s new Incubator Kitchen Program provides entry-level food entrepreneurs with an affordable kitchen and storage space to rent. Small business owners also receive business development support. As a sponsor of this space, Lake Trust Credit Union supports fresh-food initiatives and provides resources for local start-ups to succeed.
