Looking to sharpen your knife skills for the holiday cooking season? Join Chef Matt for a workshop where you’ll learn safe knife handling, essential techniques, proper care, and how to choose the right knives. You’ll also get hands-on practice by making a delicious autumn squash soup with paninis. When he’s not teaching or supporting our makers as ANC’s Kitchen and Facilities Manager, Chef Matt runs his own food truck, Fifth String Food Truck, serving up tasty handhelds and poutine.

Please be sure to wear comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes for working in the kitchen. Hair that is shoulder-length or longer needs to be tied back.
Parking is available in the lot on the East side of the center, as well as on the surrounding streets, Kalamazoo, Allen and Shepard.
