The Michigan Public Health Institute (MPHI) is working with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) on an assessment to understand challenges within the Michigan Family Planning program. Family Planning provides affordable reproductive and sexual health care to Michigan residents (including services such as contraception, preventive health exams to screen for cancer or other health issues, STI testing and treatment, and pregnancy testing and counseling).
The Michigan Family Planning Program wants to better understand how to help communities access reproductive and sexual health care services. We are looking to recruit people from urban semi-urban areas for these listening sessions. We especially hope to hear from Black women, LGBTQ+ folks, men, and adolescents. Each participant will receive a $45 gift card.
